ONLINE INSTRUMENT COURSES FOR TEACHERS

The Ministry of National Education organized online guitar, violin, ukulele, piano, lute, flute and ney classes as a part of the professional improvement programs designed for teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic. Director General for Teacher Training and Improvement Adnan Boyacı announced that professional improvement programs have the capacity to provide training to 80 thousand teachers and the Ministry also prepares solfege and rhythm lessons for teachers.

Directorate General for Teacher Training and Improvement organized basic instrument classes for teachers as a part of the professional improvement programs prepared during the new type of corona virus (Covid-19) pandemic.
 
Director General for Teacher Training and Improvement Adnan Boyacı announced that his directorate had organized "Teachers Singing for Turkey" on April 3, 2020 during the early days of the pandemic.
 
Reminding that music teachers taped videos at home in which they perform music and conveyed "Stay at Home, Listen to Music" message to the entire country as part of this project, Boyacı stated that total of 220 music videos were broadcast as a part of this project which was initiated in order to increase the motivation of parents, teachers and students during this process and allow them to have an enjoyable time.
 
"2 million 234 thousand and 148 teachers applied for distance education programs"
Noting that they have organized "basic instrument courses" upon the demand of teachers and 2 million 234 thousand and 148 teachers applied for distance education programs since the beginning of pandemic, Boyacı said, "In addition to online guitar, violin, ukulele, piano, lute, flute and ney classes, we have prepared different variety of courses as a part of professional improvement programs which have the capacity to provide training to 80 thousand teachers."
