MINISTER TEKİN ATTENDS THE GALA OF THE THEATER PLAY ABOUT THE NATIONAL STRUGGLE CALLED "TOWARDS THE REPUBLIC"

Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin attended the gala in Ankara of the theater play called "Towards the Republic", organized by the Ministry of National Education within the scope of the 100th anniversary celebrations of the republic.

With the participation of Minister Yusuf Tekin, The theater play about the War of Independence called "Towards the Republic", opened its curtains at Ankara MEB Şura Stage with its huge cast consisting of 70 people.
 
Minister Tekin, came on stage after the play that received a standing ovation from the audience congratulated the entire team by presenting gifts and flowers.
 
The play, which tells the story of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades in arms, starting the War of Independence with the strong support of the Turkish nation and the establishment of the Republic of Türkiye is written and directed by Bora Severcan. The original music of the play was composed by Selim Atkan.  The supervisor of the play is Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Sarıtaş.
 
Serdar Yeğin, Gülen Karman, Erhan Yazıcıoğlu, Ahmet Yenilmez, Zuhal Yalçın, Levent Özdilek, Şebnem Özinal, Ziya Kürküt, Sefa Zengin, Yiğit Yapıcı and Volkan Severcan  play the starring role of the play telling the heroic story of the War of Independence and the Republic of Türkiye. 
 
Subject: "Sovereignty rests unconditionally with the nation!"
The play begins with a teacher explaining to his 10-year-old student Ali how the republic was declared. In the process that continued with Mustafa Kemal Pasha and his comrades establishing the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye in Ankara, how the heroes of the War of Independence won the War of Independence by fighting the Turkish nation as one fist, to the last drop of their blood, and how Mustafa Kemal Atatürk declared the Republic is discussed.
