MINISTER ÖZER "REQUIREMENTS OF SCHOOLS VARYING FROM MASKS TO DISINFECTANTS HAVE BEEN MET"

Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer made statements about the start of the new school year set for September 6. Stressing that the Ministry has been working intensively to start face-to-face education for all grades and at all levels in 81 cities and their districts on September 6, Minister Özer, "As of this moment, all requirements of school in all parts of Turkey varying from masks and disinfectants have been met."

Visiting İzmir to hold various contacts, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer visited Governor Yavuz Selim Köşger and made statements about the start of the new school year to press members.
 
Stressing that the Ministry has been working intensively to start face-to-face education for all grades and all levels in 81 cities and their districts on September 6, Minister Özer, "As of this moment, all requirements of the schools across Turkey varying from masks and disinfectants have been met. We provided all the required support to all schools in the entire country."
 
Özer noted that the ministry personnel are currently in the field in an effort to inspect preparations carried out for the new school year.
 
Reminding that he paid his official visit to İzmir, Özer stated that he came together with İzmir governor, provincial director of national education and all district directors in an effort to revise the preparations at schools.
 
"We had the opportunity to make a detailed assessment about increasing the quality of education, physical investments in İzmir and other issues concerning education," said Özer and thanked Governor Köşger for his support to efforts concerning increasing the quality of education.
 
After the visit, Minister Özer attended the İzmir Education Assessment Meeting.
