FRIENDSHIP BRIDGE BETWEEN TÜRKİYE AND AZERBAIJAN BOOSTED AS A RESULT OF MUTUAL VISITS OF STUDENTS

In line with the common view of Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer and his Azeri counterpart Emin Amrullayev dated November 2021 concerning the boosting fellowship ties between two countries by organizing mutual visits, a 40 member delegation including students and accompanying teachers visited Azerbaijan.

A 40 member delegation including students and accompanying teachers visited Azerbaijan between June 22 and 29 in an effort to boost fellowship between Türkiye and Azerbaijan.
 
Students from secondary, vocational and technical, social sciences, science, and Anatolia and imam-hatip schools located in different cities of the country and their teachers visited Azerbaijan.
 
Turkish delegation visited Zuğulba Sport Complex, Turkish Martyrs' Cemetery, Baku State Vocational Education Center, Askerî Ganimetler Park, Haydar Aliyev Center, Kız Castle, Şirvanşahlar Palace, Fuzuli and Şuşa, Gobustan Nature Preserves and other historical and touristic sites of Azerbaijan.
 
Visits to Şuşa allowed students to see the places where two countries supported each other and provided them the opportunity to understand the common history and alliance between two ally and sister countries.
 
Delegation completed its visit and returned home on June 30.
 
A 25 member delegation from Azerbaijan had visited Türkiye on the anniversary of March 18 Çanakkale Victory.
